Lost Forest

The highly desirable Lost Forrest residences are located in East Cobb’s heart and a swim/tennis community. Lost Forrest is a lively, family-friendly community. Families with children of all ages, as well as empty-nesters who like bringing their grandkids to the pool and activities, call us home. Staff personnel of renowned schools, as well as parents who volunteer at the schools and their affiliated PTAs, foundations, and athletic teams, are among the inhabitants. There are 177 residences in this upscale private neighborhood, which is divided into four sections: Lost Forrest, The Grove at Lost Forrest, Lost Forrest Place, and The Park at Lost Forrest. This family-oriented community is full of magnificent Craftsman homes and boasts some of Georgia’s best schools. Lost Forrest real estate is about 10 minutes from the adjacent city of Roswell and twenty minutes from Marietta’s greater downtown. Homes for sale in Lost Forrest offer huge floorplans that can accommodate even the largest of families. The neighborhood tennis fields and swimming pool are just steps away, and the magnificent brick exteriors and elaborate arched windows promise grandeur and elegance. These Craftsman homes have gabled roofs and lofty ceilings, making them seem airy. These lots are ideal for planting flower beds or hosting a trampoline for the kids, as they have large manicured backyards. Inside, these homes have oak banisters on the staircase and wood fireplaces in the living room, perfect for relaxing nights with the family while watching a movie or reading a book. Granite counter tops, plenty of cabinet space, and islands that offer a useful amount of work space are all features of these kitchens. There are four brand new illuminated tennis courts for players to hone their swings, a swimming pool where swimmers may improve their lap times, and a clubhouse run by the local Homeowners’ Association. The Social Committee, a neighborhood-focused on developing strong community bonds, arranges a variety of local events ranging from Halloween Kids’ Costume Parades to Drive-In Movie Nights. Residents are also welcome to use the clubhouse for private occasions such as weddings or bar mitzvahs. Lost Forrest is served by three of Georgia’s most distinguished schools: Shallowford Falls Elementary School, Hightower Trail Middle School, and Pope High School, which will satisfy parents. Shallowford Falls Elementary School was awarded a Georgia School of Excellence in 1999 after being recognized three times for its students’ outstanding achievement in math and science. Pope High School is well-known for its outstanding athletic and choral programs. The St. Patrick’s Day Party (adults), Easter Egg Hunt, Kids’ Triathlon, Pool Kickoff Party (Memorial Day), Dive-In Movie Night, Back-To-School Meet & Greets, Oktoberfest (adults), Wine Tasting Night (adults), Halloween Party, and Kids’ Costume Parade, and Cookies with Santa are just a few of the annual events planned by theeir Social Committee. Residents can also hire out the clubhouse for parties and special events. In the summer, unplanned “chillin’ & grillin'” nights by the pool are common, while in the fall, football parties abound at the clubhouse.
